Additional Comments: I call Alice my hero.  Last April after recovering from a serious illness my friend and I took a trip to Egypt.  It was wonderful, but that's another topic.  Alice was on that tour.  She is 84 years young, still works at a boutique and travels extensively, always looking neat and color coordinated.  It was very hot on our tour, 108-113 degrees farenheidt and Alice is from northern Calif.  But that lady walked hours per day, through sand and pebbles and dirt and cobblestones, in her cute gold or black patent sandals, as far as I could tell with never a hair out of place nor a complaint.  Amazing. We frequently  ate at her table and she ate fruit, copious amounts of fruit then a green salad with a small portion of meat and maybe some rice. So since my return, I have tried to emulate Alice; my feet won't work in the cute sandals but I am eating a LOT of fruit; and it works.  My doctors are thrilled with my improvement. Alice is my hero.

She sounds adorable!    Right now, I'm eating plain (organic) oatmeal for breakfast (yumyum), raw vegetables and an apple and a small piece of Longhorn cheddar cheese for lunch, and I'm not eating good at supper yet.   But I am going to go on miso soup with legumes in it.   Well, probably will alternate with Barley and lentils.  Maybe I'll get some azuki beans, cuz I know they are really good for you.

And please, if you have any more stories like that, share them!  I love to know what other people try, that helps them.   I get organic, freerange eggs, and they taste SO good!   So much better than the regular ones.  My favorites are fresh ones, though.   I thought I had died and gone to heaven the first time I ate a FRESH scrambled egg!   YUM!!!!

I've also been eating plain goat yogurt.   I'm trying to figure out now if that's good for what I have or not.  I'm ordering a couple of the books from John R Lee, but they haven't gotten here yet.

I found the most WONDERFUL book!   It's called Cancer Recovery Guide by Jonathan Chamberlain, and I've read it 4 times now.   I'm probably going to read it at least 4 more.  It's not a big book, but has TONS of great info in it.  I SO recommend this book!   I have learned so many things I didn't know before, with the research I'm doing.  I've found lots of things I can try, that don't cost much, and seem to make a lot of sense.   I am going to try the green barley pills; have already ordered them.  (Oh, by the way.   There is another book like this, but that goes into a lot of detail, called the Complete Cancer Recovery Guide.  I have ordered that one, but it hasn't come yet.)  Am also looking seriously at the Cell Forte.  I'm hoping that would blend with my green barley, so I could do them both.  There are many other things I'm also incorporating.  I'll let ya'll know if I find stuff worth passing on!!!!   I'm much more optimistic after reading these books!

Fruit is the best thing you can eat for breakfast.  We stayed for a couple of weeks at a Bread & Breakfast near the Oregon coast a few years ago and we were served fruit and crab cakes every morning.  There were other things to eat but I only ate the fruit and crab cakes.  The crab cakes were delicious.   I was completely satisfied and not hungry until around 4 o'clock that evening.  I find that if I eat a fruit bowl for breakfast I am much more satisfied later than with a bowl of cereal or an egg.  I love egg's so I fix them for dinner once in awhile.  I don't have to worry about cholesterol because mine always runs very low.  So does my triglycerides.  Eating healthy and exercise is the best thing you can do for your body but it is very hard to do sometimes.
