Subject: I think happy's point was just that Jennifer never really used the name Jennifer Munson Donovan. She was married on her deathbed so it was never established whether she would have used her birth name as a middle name or used her actual middle name and only changed her last name, as many women (like my mother) do. Then her initials would be JLD. I would suggest that she could even keep her own last name, but the women on soaps are inevitably traditionalists. They always change their names no matter how established they are in a profession and no matter how many times they get married. Then when they get divorced, they often change their name back again! Can you imagine the hours spent waiting at the DMV? --Oakdale Oldtimer--
