Additional Comments: First..defiant behavior makes people distrust your actions.
Drugs do bad things to people
Don't take candy from strangers
Everyone expects teens to defy occasionally, but when your actions are blatant day in and day out, those around you don't trust you. Brad wasn't trusting Parker because Parker made no attempt to do any of the things any of the parents asked. When you act like a moron, you get treated like a moron. That is a life experienc..right there.
Instead of being worried about whether Brad is crazy, I think both Parker and Liberty need some serious discussions about life. Liberty needs lessons in trust...Leo tried to assault her, does she seriously think his personality changed overnight, so he's a great guy, giving her a gift? She's supposedly a street smart kid, yet..didn't think twice.
Parker had no inkling that Liberty was under the influence of a drug and left her alone in the park. Both of these kids need to be educated about the effects of drugs and the people like Leo who give them to unsuspecting 'kids'.

I agree with both you and Linny. Parker hasn't earned anyone's trust yet...funny because he keeps throwing that in Carly's face. Jack and Carly still coddle Parker when they should yell, "Snap out of it!"
Maybe when Parker starts behaving the way he preaches to the adults to behave, only then can he gain anyone's trust. He's as much a hypocrite as Jack is.
Liberty at least is trying. Parker does as he darn well pleases and doesn't give a crap what anyone says. "Whatever" is Parker's only response to anything when his parents try to guide him.

Message: I hope it leads to Parker and Liberty staying away from each other and Brad getting anger management. As far as the sit down, I have abandoned all hope that these adults will ever acknowledge that THEY let their kids run roughshod all over them. As a result, these kids think they can do and get away with anything. Parker steals from his mother and frames and innocent man? He's grounded for one day and gets to go to a pretend school dance so he can stalk Sam again. Parker gets caught lying about the dance? He gets to go to a hockey game. He calls his mother a slut and absolutely NOTHING happens to him. Liberty shoplifts in front of her new dad and step-mom? She gets an entire hotel room to herself. She cuts school and continues to act out and ends up in summer school? A new wardrobe for school and a fully decorated room.
These kids are the way they are because of their parents. I have no faith in these same parents sitting down and finally giving them the discipline they so badly need.
Heck I would have been grounded 5 times over just for talking to my parents the way Liberty and Parker talk to their parents.
