Van Hansis has an interview in the latest SOW and here's what he said IMOW.
Van says he knows the fans are concerned about the guys not being seen much recently, but that there's nothing to worry about. No one is leaving and no one has been fired. The guys just have been in the background in Oakdale for awhile and that's the way it is sometimes. He adds though he and Jake are back on set, filming a bunch scenes for the fall storyline.
He talks about the upcoming mushroom hunt (which has not been filmed yet) and says that upon seeing that Lucinda gets along with Brian so well and that Noah is also enjoying himself, Luke wonders if maybe he was wrong about Brian. In the end, Luke thinks maybe he did over-react. Following that, Noah is off to Rome for a school related trip and will be off canvas for a few weeks.
Van promises that Noah/Jake will return and says they've already shot his return before he even left. While Noah is gone, Luke will become embroiled in family related events, such as Ali and Aaron's wedding and the tragedy that strikes a member of the Snyder clan.
