I don’t know what it is about these three this time around, but I just don’t care about them. Maybe it’s because Rosanna is leaving it’s hard to get into this story. Maybe it’s the lack of chemistry between JL and both actresses. (His kissing scenes with CM are painful to say the least). Maybe it’s because it’s the same old Carly over again. She just got out of rehab, she should be re-establishing her relationship with her kids, now she’s playing Craig again or whatever she’s doing, and off chasing Jack. It seemed like the story was leading to Carly dumping Craig once she got out of rehab. That’s why it’s hard to care that Craig cheated on her, even with Rosanna. As much as I hated Hunt Block’s Craig in the role, I enjoyed Rosanna and Carly fighting about him back then (and Jack kind of being involved). Now it seems like Carly should have just moved past this stage. And where does Craig go from here? I like JL, just not as Craig. And it’s kind of sad they had to throw Carly and Ro’s relationship under a bus for this, after all the progress they made.
I echo your sentiment about the lack of chemistry between JL's Craig with either Carly or Rosanna. That's pretty much why I'm not interested in any of this conflict over the guy. (Admittedly, I was a Hunt Block fan.)
Not feeling it at all. I thought for sure Carly would dump Craig the minute she hit Oakdale... I was rather disappointed when now all of a sudden Carly adores Craig and wants to marry him. It was a rewrite because for most of the storyline while Carly was drinking, it seemed to me she was just using Craig as a crutch and someone to cover her so she could drink. So, she goes through months of rehab and decides keeping the co-dependent boyfriend is a good idea... does that even make sense?
Craig is starting to really bother me. Now, he is back to dreaming about Carly even though he had professed his love for Rosanna not a couple days ago? Can anyone say wishy washy and sooo not worth it?!
I do not buy Carly and Rosanna fighting over Craig. I also do not think Carly would be this angry about the affair. Carly is usually a forgiving person, who is more open minded than most Oakdale citizens. Carly had an affair with Holden not long ago... that alone should make Carly understand that these things happen. Lily forgave her so, the least Carly can do is forgive her sister. I guess I was never all that angry about the Cro affair because I never liked Carly and Craig anyway.. it just seemed natural that they would drift apart.
I am worried that Rosanna is going to end up leaving Oakdale because Craig will cheat on her with Carly and then tell her he wants Carly again. I also wonder if this won't be Carly's plan to get even... get Craig away from Rosanna and then tell Craig to take a hike because she doesn't want him, either. I hope I am wrong about that... I would like to see the sisters make up.

For me there is no tension. Even if I were spoiler free- it would take a blockhead not to see where the story is going with Carly and Jack and that Rosanna is expendable- hell, a few saucy words and a raised eyebrow from Carly and Craig is hot and bothered so Rosanna is toast. The only wildcard is Craig and where he will land. They have given Carly an excuse to chase after Jack this time but even so- Carly chasing Jack for 456th time on this show is a mite old.
The whole story is really falling flat for me- the potential was there but it looks like they will squander it. The idea that this story about Jack is really about Katie irks me no end.

I must say I don't understand the criticism that Carly is chasing Jack and not establishing a relationship with her kids. He is her children's father for one. When she and Parker were talking the other day, he was concerned because Janet was not going to check on Jack and was hoping that someone would. I am sure the kids would rather their dad be okay and are glad she is there to see about him.
As far as Craig and Carly, I did like them together before. However, Craig has been a jerk since he got back and I don't see them coming back as a couple after his relationship with Ro. As far as Carly goes, what is she supposed to do?? Every time she turns around, Craig and/or Rosanna are at her door. She has not been going after them.
