Additional Comments: I did not post on this site when Molly was on ATWT. With all things being equal being a Carly fan or not who would you rather have on the show. I'm going with Molly. Trust mes it's not by a wide margin but Ro has become food fodder for Craig & can't watch her right now.

Molly was about as popular as Janet at first because she attempted to get between the famous couple of Holden and Lily. Then the Abigail SL was so poorly written that many posters got sick of her and her "dotter". However, she and cuz Carly had a cute, and funny bad girl relationship that I found endearing. The last set of writers made Molly jealous of Carly's relationship with Roseanna, but hopefully the new ones will forget that. Molly was a "full speed ahead and d**n the torpedos" kind of girl and willing to do what it takes, right or wrong and in bed to get what she wanted. For a while she was just a booty call waiting to happen. She was always looking for love but until Jake never found it. She and Jake had an unlikely love story that I found charming. It was sad to see such a neat character die. Unlike other, I liked the character of Molly.
I used to like Roseanna but she has been ruined for me.

Message: If there was a guarantee that Molly wouldn't end up in the kind of rut that Rosanna & Carly have fallen into, I would like seeing her back again. However, every time we see Rosanna & Carly come back, TPTB make all sorts of promises that turn into empty, half truths--at best. They haven't done right by ANY of these characters in yrs.
I liked Rosanna much better when she was introduced originally. I preferred the original actress & the writing then. The character was SO much more interesting & believeable.

Message: I always liked the Carly/Molly relationship more. I like Cady McClain, and aside from the Craig/Mike issue, I liked Carly having a sister in town. But with Ro (and even to an extent Gwen) Carly is always inadequate---it's like she'll always be trying to make up for her past actions (I firmly believe the entire Gwen/Rory/drugging was about Carly needing to keep "Ro's son" lest Ro awaken and hate her for not fighting for the kid.)
With Molly, they're equals. (at least most of the time before Jake made Molly "legit") That isn't always a good thing, but it's usually entertaining.
