Additional Comments: ...it's UNCLE HENRY? You hate the man with a passion until you figure out that he might be able to get you the answers that you need and suddenly it's UNCLE HENRY? I know it's nitpicking but it just sounded so strange to hear that coming out of her mouth after all of her somewhat justified if not hypocritical "Henry Hate" pouring out of her mouth.

Now what did Katie do wrong.  She is mustering up enough feelings to be semi-civil to the man she and I both blame for the death of her husband.  Henry should be on his knees thanking her for giving him the time of day after what he did.  So, is it wrong that she is softening towards the  man she considered her best friend for years.  Is she wrong for grasping for any knowledge Henry may have regarding Brad, her recently decease husband whom she loved.  I think Katie's behavior towards Henry is spot on.  I didn't expect her to stay mad at someone who she considers a dear friend too long.  But she had every right to be furious at him and every right to take her time to chose when and if she would forgive that narcissistic fool.

  • Katie does have every right to be tough on Henry. I'm just waiting for the day when she acknowledges her own reckless behavior, and how it brought about the circumstances leading up to Brad's death. (eom) Mandi
  • Where in my post did I say that Katie wasn't justified in her anger toward Henry? It's very hypocritical, but she is justified in her anger. Considering how she expected to be instantly forgiven for her behavior w/r/t Vienna and the baby, I find it amusing that Katie is banishing Henry from her life. After what she pulled at that time Katie and Henry shouldn't even have been friends when Ralph came to town in the first place. Henry forgave Katie for her horrific bahavior. I am sure she will forgive Henry for his, even though her own stupidity is responsible for the death of her husband as well (of course she's never going to admit that). eom Linny
  • No one told Katie to go to that warehouse. Henry didn't even hint for her to get involved. Henry screwed up, but it's not all his fault. And now Katie is mad at Brad for coming to get her. Um, genius, if you didn't risk your life and the life of your baby by dealing with a gangster, your husband would have never tried to save you!

I am getting sick of Katie.  At some time she needs to take responsibility for going to see Ralph alone, putting things into motion.  She and Margo both need to get off their high horse.

  • Boy, talk about blaming the victim. I guess its better than blaming good ole innocent child-like Henry.
  • Please stop trying to paint Katie as blameless in all of this. Yes Herny has a lot to answer for. But so does Katie who, during a difficult pregnancy, went alone to threaten a mobster she knew was capable of extreme violence when no one asked her to do this. It's sad that Katie lost Brad. But let's not pretend that Katie didn't make a series of stupid mistakes that DIRECTLY led to Brad getting killed. Brad would have never been in the warehouse if Katie hadn't decided to be superwoman even if Ralph was in town because of Henry. Henry might have brought the danger to Oakdale, but Katie and only Katie knowingly and willingly put her entire family in the line of fire with her ridiculous actions. I'm not saying that Henry doesn't need to be raked over the coals, but let's just say that Henry isn't the only ''child'' in this scenario. eom Linny
  • Bertha, ICAM. What expecting mother takes on the mob single-handedly, especially if she's already had a very trouble pregnancy and she knows how violent Ralph is? The woman was an idiot and put herself and her child in danger. Although I think Brad was a fool for going there by himself, I can almost see why he did it given that OPD refused to follow up on the initial lead that led to Brad finding Katie (although he's still a rock head for going in alone). Katie needs to face facts, Brad was in that warehouse because KATIE got herself kidnapped, not because Henry was in trouble with the mob. Katie was kidnapped because the idiot decided to take on the mob all by herself, not because Henry asked her for help. Katie wasn't even on Ralph's radar until Katie started running her stupid mouth. Henry needs to atone for his part in bringing Ralph to town, but Katie should take some credit of her own for her stupid, reckless and childish behavior. eom Linny
  • ...and IMO, the only true victim here is that child. Ralph, Katie, Brad, Henry and Audrey all played significant roles in causing this tragedy. eom Linny
  • Remember when henry was on the phone, with brad, he told brad not to get the police involved since it could put katie life in danger, police show up guns blazing, and start shootings. -cupcake_
