Subject: Thanks for the get well wishes, but it's not going to get any better, just trying to avoid it getting worse. I've had it for many years, in my left shoulder and also where my shoulder and neck meet. I refuse to let anyone operate where my spine get's involved or take anything more than asprin or Motrin. BUT, training myself not to carry my purse on my left side and not swing a bag of groceries with my left arm has helped immensely, oh and those heat patches, what an invention, and now the lightweight ionic blowdryer! Subject: I can relate with the weight of thick hair. I have the same, heavy hair and the arm does get tired. I also can relate to switching my pocketbook to the other side because of my bad back. I almost went to get Epidural shots but then the pain (after months) started going away so I didn't go. Unfortunately, the pain could come back at any time for any reason. I hope you feel better. MM
