Subject: It is nerve wracking. I’m getting too old for all the stress every time there’s one out there. I can’t even fathom what the New Orleanians are going through. / Vivian

Subject: Hannah is currently a tropical storm and not expected to become a hurricane so at least we don't have to worry about a 1-2 punch of back-to-back hurricanes. That's something to be thankful for at least. ~i&b

Subject: Don't forget the two *systems* behind Hannah. Tropical storms can be a giant PITA because they still have those sustained winds that cause power outages, tornadoes and flooding, but people tend to shrug them off because they aren't as bad as hurricanes. Look at all the damage our last tropical storm did. It's exhausting being a Floridian at this time of year - weatherwise, that is. Actually, I'd expand that to being anyone living on the Gulf of Mexico. // Shea
