Subject: I have lived in Roswell NM...for 3 years, then Albuquerque for 5 years, here in Las Cruces going on 30 years, Northern NM is very different from the southern part of NM. believe me. .They do not tell you our Lakes are dying up, Just 3 years ago, our once beautiful Elephant Butte Lake had been reduced to just 7%, and the assumption was it would end up just being the Rio Grande River where it started from back in 1916. Subject: Donata, I hope you didn't get the wrong impression. I posted the link as a direct response to the poem which I assumed you shared because you found it amusing, and not that it was a reflection of what is going on in parts of the State. izi
