Subject: I'm not talking about getting granite countertops. I'm talking about replacing 50 year old wiring and pipes that shed flecks of metal into the water. How about replacing 50-60 year old housing with radon problems? How about children with lead counts in the dangerous levels from the 40 layers of paint in their homes? No one is asking VA hospitals to suffer, but warriors have a hard time focusing when their families are living in relative squalor. MS
