Additional Comments:

The video is no longer available on You Tube because CBS claimed copyright infringement, but you can watch it by clicking http://gawker.com/5008668/bill-oreilly-meltdown-resurfaces.  Once an assh*le, always an assh*le, right?

Over 2 million people have already watched that video, the one just from MSNBC.  That doesn't even count all the ones on other websites.  Now Olbermann has a comedian pretending to be a body language analyzer, analyzing his body language, and it’s hilarious.

OMG! It reminds me of the SNL skit with Will Farrell of the local morning show couple (Good Morning, Scranton, maybe) and what happens when their teleprompter breaks - the become savage cannibals!

  • I never understood the comic appeal of Will Farrell on SNL until he started parodying Bush. Now, the man is a comic genius IMO. : ) --susie

I heard the exchange on TV while I was surfing the 'Net.

Honestly, I think when you're Irish Catholic, you automatically inherit the "bitter, angry old man" gene which manifests itself...............around now in my case.  It makes me recall the recent (within the last year?) blow up of Bill O'Reilly and Phil Donahue, mano y mano on BO's show.

Of course, we had better banter in my day.  I'm remembering the exchange between Al Capp (one-legged cartoonist of the enormously popular L'il Abner comic strip) and Frank Zappa on a talk show.

Capp to Zappa:  You have long hair.  Does that make you a girl?

Zappa to Capp:  You have a wooden leg.  Does that make you a table?

  • ROFLMAO!!! Frank Zappa - what a gem! So are you turning bitter and cranky, Mitch? Is that what you're telling us? : ) --susie
  • Yep, I'm mean bitter AND cranky...eom...Mitch
  • Have a Jamesons on the rocks and you'll be fine. LOL! --susie

The guy is a major @hole.  Is it any wonder he got picked up by Fox?  They seem to have a corner on the market for @holes, ex-cons, dumb chicks, and the emotionally handicapped.

  • LOL! Yes, there are so many adjectives to describe the nutjob pundits on Fox. Mental midgets. I think that one works. : ) --susie
  • @hole?? Ah that made me smile!!eom/WE

I’ve seen it a couple times on MSNBC and last night Stephen Colbert did a satire of BO doing that rant.  BO has a terrible temper.  It’s really kind of scary.  I wouldn’t be surprised if he has a heart attack some day.  This morning on Morning Joe, after playing it, they were alluding to Scarborough having a temper too, but I don’t think his is quite as bad as BO’s.  BO has been trying for the last couple years to get everyone at NBC and MSNBC fired.  Now he’ll really freak out.  How did you hear about it?

  • Hi Vivian! I woke up to Stephen Colbert talking about it on the Report and caught the last seconds of BO ripping his jacket off and having a hissy fit. So I HAD to search the internets to see the full version. Sadly, the most miserable people in the world seem to live the longest. I can't figure out why. He'll probably be on Fox News until he's 95 and halfway in the grave. Unless someone at Fox wises up. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! --susie
  • Susie, actually it is still on You Tube because I looked for it. There are also other clips of him losing it. Fox would never fire him as long as he brings in the ratings. Remember, half of the country likes his rants and they don’t know enough to know that half the stuff he says is not true. This is a terrible thing to say but I keep hoping some day he’ll have a complete breakdown and have to be hauled away to the loony bin. He definitely should be on medication. He’ll probably try to sue Colbert and everyone who is playing it. I think I’ll watch him tonight (if I can stomach it) and see if he says anything about this. / Vivian
  • I just adore how Colbert mock worships him. Mr. News just had to sit through an hour of B.O. while taking care of my dad (brain injury, diabetes, long story) last weekend. I keep telling Mr. News not to let Dad watch Fox News... Anyway, after sitting through a show, he said he developed a whole new appreciation of Stephen and his ''approach'' to interviews. LOL! --susie
  • I would think letting your dad watch Fox News would not be good for his brain injury. I’m sure the doctor would not recommend it. / Vivian
