Topic: Where do you represent??? ZIP

Topic Posted by: DixuhsBaybuh
Date Posted: Tue Sep 2 16:53:58 2008
Additional Comments:

Maybe this has been done before and I apologize if it is improper *net-iquette* but I'm curious as to where YOU PEOPLE represent.

I asked another poster who lives not too far away from me, Diane, RN, to punch in her ZIP code to get an idea of more specifically where she is without being creepy and asking for an address. Then I used a map site to find out and it gives one a better feel than just the city name

Then I thought it might be cool to see where others are representin'

I'm in the 28211, where you at?

  • did you go to a taping of *Wayne's World* in Aurora back in the day? did you get the cable acces channel?? DxB
  • Cable Acess channel? No, I didn't watch much T.V, I was busy with school, and homework. Wayne's World was not taped in Aurora. That car cabob was filmed in Berwin, and is actually going to be taken down soon.
  • I may be wrong. I just looked it up. I think some of it might have been taped in Aurora. The car cabob thing was definately in Berwyn.

I don't ''represent'' anywhere.  I live in Ohio.

  • if you don't want to respond then don't respond....DxB
  • Uh, I did respond. ~i&b
  • Uh, without a number, but that's fine, the others are interesting DxB
  • A reply like this is to be expected from this one. Maybe she doesn't want to say WHERE in Ohio because she knows all the people to whom she consistently makes haughty, arrogant, and condescending replies might pay her a visit and put that flimsy paralegal degree where it belongs! Good post. I would like to see everyone respond and map all the zip codes. It would be an interesting **representation**! I know what you meant. Ignore this beeotch!
  • Well, now that's interesting ''Kasey'' (and whatever else you call yourself). I'm not the one calling someone a bitch, belittling their education as though I know the first thing about it, and hurtling juvenile insults inside my reply. Yet somehow your childish reply is supposed to reflect on me rather than you? Think again. Pot, meet kettle. ~i&b
  • Truth hurts, instead of defending your haughty ass reply, think about what you said instead (for a change). ''Pot, meet kettle'' isn't childish? You could have done better than that! Whatever.. your opinion means ZIPPPPO to me. If you didn't want to post your zip code, no need to reply to the topic. Every topic DOES NOT require your sage advice and input, I assure you!
  • I saw no need to disclose my actual zip code, I felt saying where I live is close enough. Why that is such a problem for you that you feel the need to hurl personal insults is beyond me. Your posts here certainly say a lot about you and not in a good way. ~i&b
  • Call the waaaaaaambulance! You always have to reply as if you are a wise, old sage, that's all. It gets mundane, really. Especially when you give parenting advice. All I am trying to get thru to you is that you appear to be a know-it-all on every subject, every topic, everything. You'll never stand back, listen and hear, you'll only try to defend yourself, so it's useless. Never mind, I'm sure it's lonely on your self-built pedestal. You're not all bad or anything, just a suggestion and I'll admit I could have said it nicer. My eyes just get sore from rolling at your replies sometimes. Sorry I sounded mean and knelt to using beeotch, but the rest was real. Have a nice day anyway. For real. Love, Kasey Kurl
  • I don't understand why you follow i&b around and senselessly pick on her! Don't you know she isn't a bad person? Why are you doing this? Its nasty. Its insane. Its downright cruel. She did nothing to you. Stop the insanity! Its making me want to pop a downer, man!
  • Smells like dog breath...haughty ass...beyotch? Guess KASEY won't be around for long. We disagree a LOT but no sophoMORONic replies like these are accepted here.

33063.  Let me ask you something.  Why do always call us ‘’You people,’’ with an emphasis?  Are you being snide?

    Replies: (list all replies)

  • nothing menacing.....it is kind of a joke thing I borrow from KellyOh! (I think her). I think somebody used it in the past trying to be serious and it started getting used as a joke (I think). Most posters *get it* but I'm sure there are some who are not in on it. Now YOU are! DxB
  • Yes Vivian some used to use it in a nasty way. Since then DxB has taken it to a new level. When anons use it - they are trying to insult and it used to irk my innards. Now that DxB has put a different spin on it I pay no never mind to those who use it to offend. eom/WE
  • Actually, I'm fairly certain I was snarky about someone else (most likely anon) using it on the soap board to diss some opinion or another. I've found that most (not DxB) use it there when they have a differing opinion, have a nasty retort, and 'you people' lets them lump posters into a group they feel they must address to point out their error. eom Kelly Oh!!
