These really are classy insults.  I'll have to remember some of them.

I have to protest that he had Van Gogh's ear for music.

I have tinnitus, ringing in the ears. I think that Van Gogh cut off his ear because of tinnitus.

It's not easy to live with it. I do the best that I can to live with it.

Please give Van Gogh a break.

  • Hi Holly - i have tinnitus too. i used to think everyone heard that high pitched buzz. i can block it out of my mind for the most part but sometimes it can be very nerve racking. i can understand how it might make someone cut off their ear - i've heard it causes some people to be suicidal. how do you deal with it ? ive heard people recommend meditation. do you take any medication for it ? ~mrsk
