Any news on the Las Vegas front? Has NBC come to it's senses and agreed to give fans a real ending?
Yes and no. Yes, I have some news on the Las Vegas front but it doesn't involve NBC coming to it's senses re: Vegas. According to one of my NBC moles, exec. producer Gary Scott Thompson - who's now helming the Peacock's Knight Rider reboot -- has devised a Plan B in the event that Vegas is not given a proper farewell. It involves Josh Duhamel and Molly Sims walking through an episode of KR cradling a newborn baby. I! Kid! You! Not!
ME: I will not be duped into tuning in to this inferior show. I know some liked it but the reviews were ghastly. If this is the case I will tape and ask any of you to tell me how far into the show I need to FF just to see the walk-on.
Seriously, I hope this isn't true. If so what a sad way to end what once was a great show. They all deserve better as do the fans of the show.
Well, I for one LIKE Knightrider and thought it was pretty good. In my opinion, the negative reviews are a result of it taking most of the movie to actually get IN to the Knightrider mode and most was background. As a standalone movie, I can see where they would not like it. BUT as a PILOT for the show, it was good. (which is what I thought it was when I watched it so I was OK with the mostly background movie).
That all being said though, I wish they would just do a FINALE for Las Vegas. So much was left hanging that could easily be cleared up in one or two episodes (or a 2 hour finale). SHOW us just WHO Cooper really is/was... SHOW us Danny and Delinda having their baby and show us WHO gets the montecito.

Message: Well, I actually enjoyed the Knight Rider reboot and look forward to the series. I thought Justin Bruening did himself proud, and the story was interesting. BUT this sort of scheming to draw new viewers is insulting to the audience and a disgraceful way to treat a long running show. I hope Josh and Molly decline the invitation.
