For you guys inother parts of this great nationwho see 20s and sub - 20s every year, I know this probably doesn't mean much to you lol...but trust me...here in my neck o the woods...its...CRAZY lol!!!

Message: 27 aint so bad. That's been about our average temperature here this year. In fact that's what it is right now, upper 20's, lower 30's. We've really lucked out here in Chicagoland. No 0 and below all year, I can't believe it. The snow hasn't been too bad either. We got a dusting last night of about 2 inches. I feel sorry for the folks in the eastcoast. I hear it's a real mess over there.

I live here on LI, NY...I am hearing so many different reports here. I went to visit dad. I took him the grocery store had him load up on groceries and went to the bank. I feel so much better that he has alot of food for about 4-5 days. I live about 9 miles from him. The weather they say here is suppose to change to snow...but even if it stays with rain we will get floods. On my way home I came across alot of floods. 2 blocks from my house they have poor drainage (sp)and the water looks like it keeps rising...Please everyone stay safe...
