Subject: Well Amanda and KWAK both easily fell into his bed last year; Nurse Gail would gladly have fallen into his bed..or car backseat...or under his desk, etc., etc. Okay Nurse Gail and I have a lot in common! LOTS of PV men are going through abstinent not by choice spells....Tad..David...now Jake is being forced into that...Jesse I'm sure isn't gettin' any from Angie about now! LOL...Adam seems to be doing the best! There are just no female characters on the horizon to hook up with these guys in a normal fashion...as for David...except for Liza...there's nobody out there right now that we know...he's attracted to and intrigued by Liza and if/when they hook up I think it could be quite something! But who's to say...Liza is pretty good at resisting him. He's not pushy with Liza...he's ardent...but he doesn't force himself. SORAS

Subject: Liza is resisting him because she is a mature, intelligent woman, at this point the only one in PV. Liza is on David's level of intelligence and if she ever gives in they will be a great match. Also if David is the definition of a predator then I guess that makes Zach and his posse the same. None of David's actions was about sex, it was about revenge/goldie

Subject: I cannot fathom that Amanda is not ALSO being held responsible for ANY of this...she's the screwball who was SO SURE David would take the baby away before she even TRIED to have something resolved in the courts...WHY/HOW/ON WHAT BASIS could David have legally taken full custody of her baby? And what..he'd FOR SURE steal the child at some point? She's the one who basically drove Jake..although he was a putz too...to come up with his whacky scheme. She's the one who went along with Opal's find-an-abandoned-baby-at-the-church caper which Tad and Taylor botched. She's the one who AGREED to enter into this contract..and trust me that contract is TOTALLY voidable...it wouldn't stand up in a court of law...but she's the one who's SURE this is the ONLY way...and she's the one WHO CAN'T WAIT ANOTHER FRIGGIN' EXCUSE MY FRENCH MONTH to go for an insemination?? What is she 8?!? She cannot wait another 28 days?!?!? She's like a child who cannot wait for Christmas but HAD she waited another 28 +/- days she didn't NEED to do the deed with David! What the heck is ONE MORE MONTH and if it didn't take...okay..now it's longer...but one month, 2 months, 3 months...90 days...v. having sex with David?!?!? And she's the IDIOT who BELIEVES that David would NEVER TELL JAKE and would KEEP THIS SECRET and not threaten her with it?!?!?? But she did think he'd steal Baby #1 so much that this whole insane scenario was put into motion! So he'd steal Baby #1 from you but he'd keep the secret from your husband that you and he had sex?!? Amanda IS AN IDIOT and bears TOTAL responsibility for what's happened---if David had nobody to play with...nobody to toy with...nobody to manipulate...then he'd have to pack his toys and go home! In other words if Amanda NEVER put this whole mess into motion she wouldn't be where she is today. But then she IS the one who went to David last year and hit the sack with him in the first place...he never raped her...he never forced her..he didn't manipulate her...she was TOTALLY willing! PEOPLE SEEM TO FORGET WHAT A HO AMANDA WAS prior to becoming this supposed madonna-blessed-mother....don't you remember when Jake last year CALLED her a whore? He was drunk but he called her that...like around Christmas time..when he warned JR to stay away from her because she's a whore. Kendall gives out sex like a sympathy card....but Amanda handed out sex like her CALLING card! David is far from the only one to blame...and Amanda is FAR FAR FAR from blameless! SORAS

I can't speak for anyone other than myself, but the reason I've not blamed Amanda for any of this, is because to ME, she is the victim, and I would feel as though I were blaming the victim, as so many people do when there is a sexual dispute between a man and a woman. So I am putting out my comment that I am shocked how Amanda is not being held responsible by many on this board while everyone is saying shame on David...I think Amanda bears responsibility. Subject: Jake asked her if she was dressed as a ''hooker''. I agree that word is interchangable with whore, but my point is that if you're going to make a statement, the word should be what was actually said. (Especially since ''hooker'' is bad enough!!!) I would also like to point out that Jake was drunk when he said that to Amanda (not that that makes what he said ok) and he appologized to her over and over for speaking to her in that way. Subject: It doesn't matter what word he used we all know what he meant. He used Amanda for sex and dumped her as soon as he could get Taylor. Oh but he is so perfect compared to David, after all he is a Martin, therefore totally in the right no matter what he does or to whom./goldie.

Subject: Perhaps it doesn't matter to you.......but it matters to me, and I suspect that SORAS would rather use the correct word when complaining about Jake. As I already said, ''hooker'' was bad enough, so why not just quote accurately? Amanda and Jake used each other for sex and fun......they had that very conversation at the beginning of their relationship. I realize it is not something you would not like to acknowledge, but Jake is written as the good guy, and David has always been written as the villain. If I were as big a fan of David as you are, I would just embrace the villain.......enjoy their complete 'badness' and enjoy all the evil things they did to everyone else. That is what I did with Lindsay on OLTL, and the way I have always enjoyed Mitch Laurence, also on OLTL. I sure wouldn't waste a lot of energy trying to defend the indefensible!! eom/Tex

Subject: Ok, sure Jake used Amanda for fun sex and she fell in love with him and then he dumped her and called her names and then she used David for feel good sex after that, don't forget Amanda went to David he didn't go looking for her, as a result she got pregnant and didn't want David to have any part of it, which started all the trouble.
