Subject: Andrew Preston came to town with his mother, Cynthia Preston (Jane Elliot, now-Tracy, GH) in the mid-1980's under the false claim that he was the biological son of Palmer's son (and Adam's nephew) Ross Chandler. Cynthia not only caused trouble in Ross's marriage to Ellen, but succeeded in taking Palmer away from his wife (and Nina's mother) Daisy. Palmer married Cynthia and adopted Andrew as his own son. Unfortunately, a plan to injure Ross went awry and accidentally killed Alex Hunter (Jeremy's father / Natalie's first husband). Andrew, who was involved with Dottie Thornton, went to prison for his role in the scheme. He never gets mentioned, as Palmer likely wrote him off after his and Cynthia's betrayals were exposed. ~ Soaker

Subject: Thanks for the info. I took a couple of years off from watching the show. That must be when Andrew, Alex, and Cynthia were on since I don't remember any of them. I do, however, remember Daisy, Ellen, Ross, and Dottie.
