Subject: KOWYS, I'm gonna agree with you on this one. While it was unfortunate that the minister declined to christen Gabrielle based on her same-sex parentage, he was honest about his discomfort with the situation and you're right - he didn't give them the ''abomination in the eyes of God'' speech a lot of ministers I know would have. I can understand people taking issue with his actions, but the truth is, it was realistic. As a gay woman, I wasn't the least bit mortified or offended ... I know that there will always be people with whom I don't see eye-to-eye and if they're tactful and respectful in their honesty (as the minister was), I can accept and respect their difference in opinion, feelings, viewpoint, etc. - - acidbrat
