Additional Comments: I was thinking about Amanda and David and how much they really are alike in background, they both had great Fathers but insane Mothers, both had troubled childhoods and many unhappy times in there adulthood. Jake on the other hand has been pampered and loved by what was once the cream of the crop family in PV. The Martins are considered the best or at least they were. I know Amanda and David will probably never be a couple but they are a lot alike in many ways. If Trevor and the new baby is David's, I think he and Amanda both will want them to have the best of lives and hopefully can get to be nice to each other.. I know it is a soap and will never happen. If I was a writer that is the way I would write it. LOL

Message: I think you're right. I've never thought about it that way. There has to be some reason Amanda won't leave David's side. Maybe she identifies with him more that Jake. Maybe she suspects that Jake only wants her to spite David. Two things pop up for me. The way she tried to make David jealous by flaunting her bedding Jake and not leaving him when given a chance. Other than her wanting to be with him I can't think of any other reason she stays.
