As mentioned in so many topics the writing, lately, is infuriating.
Why would Jake and Amanda make a deal with the devil?
Why do Adam, Scot and Annie even listen to Zach, Ryan and Erica?
Why would Aidan do this to Kendall?
The list of whys goes on and on and ON. Since Thorsten isn't going to L.A. I'm just sorry they've written Zach so badly. He doesn't care who he hurts as long as he gets what HE wants. He would have let Adam die while resuscitating him IF he got a confession. He doesn't care what would/will happen to Scot if making Adam think he's the father of Annie's baby will get a confession.
Ditto that for Erica. Earlier this year the writers did right by LaLooch teaming her with Adam. Now she's with Zach et al. She says she doesn't want the guilt to cause Adam a heart attack yet she goes along with Zach and Ryan. They forget Kendall did confess and that's why she got jail time - oh WAIT she never spent even one night IN jail. Add to that the ill-conceived romance with Ryan. Puhleeeeze.
Ryan has always been an asshat but brought that to new levels this week. HOW can he be sure Annie was faking the pregnancy? Maybe his telling her she couldn't conceive brought on the almost miscarriage. Now he's certain she was faking and as surprised as he was? Okay - she was but he's not that smart.
Annie's no angel but no one has given a second thought to accusing her of Stuart's death. Sure she covered it up and used Emma but so have most of them (using Emma that is). Zach tried a few times until Ryan put his foot down.
JR and Colby think Annie is the devil incarnate. Sure she's after a better life and to get custody of Emma. She faked the miscarriage to stop him from confessing and hit pay dirt.
I think the Amanda, Jake and David story is beyond bizarre. Hope A&J have a plan and that she's really preggers with Jake's baby. Also hope she tells Jake what happened in the car so David has nothing over their heads once Jake is proven to be the new baby AND Trevor's father.
Aidan isn't going, no longer care. Love him and feel bad for the way he's being written
Alicia will work out her contract so that remains to be seen but don't care as she's on maternity leave and has always annoyed me.
Thorsten will be gone soon - won't bother aggravating myself.
Randi, Frankie, Marissa - BORING.
Natalia and Brot have possibilities.
Hope hope HOPE Emma is making the move.
They have GOT to stop what they are doing to the Hubbards...now! No way they can redeem Jesse but they can put an end to his criminal spree that effects his entire family (accessories?)
I'm biding my time that most of these stories will be over by year's end and we'll be into change. Also remains to be seen if that change will be for the better, will the loss of some great actors be the downfall of the show or will there really be a New Beginning for All My Children.

I am biding my time until TK leaves. His last day will be MY last day.
ME! Biding my time and hoping for the emergence of something that resembles a hero and heroine, in a story that attempts to show man's dominance over his baser instincts, all set within the rich saga of friends and family, with strong emphasis on love, loyalty and humor. Perhaps there can be a panoply of elements: struggle and success, sickness and birth, anxiety and pleasure -- all while examining and experiencing the perplexities of life and the fundamental elements of belonging, sharing and self-fulfillment.
And, most of all . . . more spit takes.

all good questions I've been asking myself lately... HAD Amanda & David made it to the clinic I was sure hoping they'd say, Mrs. Martin, you are already pregnant (w/ your HUSBAND's child). David is dispicable... and if/when Trevor is found out to be Jake's, he deserves the pain it will bring.
Erica Ryan and Zach have done nothing but bully everyone around them... grrrrrr
I think I can easily forget the mess they made of the Hubbards, why do they have to bring back Madison tho... just prolongs the reminder of the mess that's been made.
maybe the high def in January will distract us all from the mess this show has been lately.
