Kelly Ripa talked about her and Mark's taping yesterday their upcoming appearances (2 shows) on AMC.
She first off said she cried and is VERY sad at the thought of the show's moving to LA.
She said as she and Mark walked down the street by the studio they could smell the sawdust from the carpenters who create the sets and it took them back in time...happily so.
She showed pix she had taken from the day - and included in the pix were David Canary, Melissa Egan, Jill Larson, and Susan Lucci. She said she and Melissa agreed that if they worked together every day they'd be the best of friends, they had such a good time and laughed a lot. The pix were taken in the Chandler parlor and in the background was the Christmas tree so.....
She said nothing in answer to Regis's questions about what's the storyline...only to say that "Annie Lavery" is a "bad" character. She started to say she's now "Annie ________" and was going to say Chandler but stopped herself and said "I'm not going to say anything because I don't know how much of the storyline is already out there." (so guess she doesn't watch at all).
On Friday they will be showing more AMC things including Kelly's and Mark's audition tapes.
But she emphasized how she cannot believe they're moving to LA and how sad she is to see them go.
Let me clarify my topic title so I'm not told I said the wrong thing...lol..."more to come on Friday" means on Regis & Kelly...Mark & Kelly are done doing their taping for AMC...they did their parts on 2 episodes in one day yesterday. So presumably there will be an AMC segment of some sort on Regis & Kelly this Friday.
