Topic: I'm back, what happened?

Additional Comments: ok. I'm back. A very fine young man, Joel Bischoff, 35, of Napierville, IL. has passed on Veteran's Day of complications from treatments of Melanoma. So, Sue and I are back. The David Amanda thing is stoopid. Glacially stoopid. Sets, props, costumes are up for auction on Rachel. Does anyone else think she's had waaaaaaaaay tooooooooo much coffee? And, yes, why don't they just rename the new LA Children show? Who votes that we drag Pratt behind a pickup truck for a state or two? And, SORAS I'm really sorry to see Big Ben didn't show up Sunday. Finally, if you're feeling generous, please send a buck or two to the Cancer Research group of your choice in Joel's name. You can google him for more info. Gawd, I missed you guys. I miss Joel, too.

Welcome Back!!   Sorry to hear about Joel.  He was soooo ''young'' .   @!$% that cancer!!

I used to think Babe was super dumb, yet Amanda has her beat.  What an airhead.

  • You know, SUDS, all the sex I ever had in high school was when I threatened to steal all their other children! Great tool, that tactic, for getting laid. LOL. LOL. LOL. I was waiting for the scene at invitro where David would dance to ''All By Myself''--Quinn

LOL...Quinn I clicked on your topic first thing, tapping my foot, saying, "You BETTER 'splain where you've been!"

But now I see you travelled at the loss of a friend and my sympathy to you and yours.  I do give to cancer charities and will continue to do so.

On another note...heh heh..ITA Ben did NOT show up...WHAT was up with that?!  He kept shaking his head "no"...THAT is not Ben!  He's supposed to be confident...I screamed so much at the TV my dog went and hid...but she does that when the TV is on with sound and the local radio broadcast is also blaring.

Just got off the phone with my sister who came in from Cincinnati (where she lives under protest) with her husband and 2 Bengals fans neighbors came in too...they made the plans a couple of months ago when the neighbors had to put down their 15-year old dog and were very depressed...so my sister offered for them to come to Pittsburgh for this game (my family has tix or can get tix..they ended up with 8 of them which is the motherlode, believe me) so they could enjoy a gorgeous weekend here (the weather has been fabulous for 2 straight weeks now..a record!) and then go to the game with local cousins...do the whole thing...tailgating, etc.

I said to my family on the phone this morning WHO the heck did the game plan?!...they barely TRIED to run the ball!  This airing it out wasn't working yet they stayed with it!  In the last minute 56 seconds...nothing changed!  AND we lose Troy again!  I can't take it.  He was on one of the late night shows on Tuesday and I thought "Troy...where's your focus...get home and remember 'eye of the tiger'!"  But no he went Hollywod and other players were out Saturday signing autographs at a local mall!  What's up with that?!?  Tomlin needs to take names and kick some backside!

So yes, Quinn...you are correct...this was not a pleasing Sunday for us.  Pens beat the Bruins in OT and Pitt beat Notre Dame...but the Steelers blew it.  Now the Bengals have a cushy schedule the rest of the season...maybe we can be a wild card?!  You have no idea how much this is a rivalry here...as much as v. Cleveland is...that Mistake on the Lake town.

The BUNgals are not a better team than we are..they're as good...after yesterday I have to say our equal...and don't forget we came off of a tough Monday night game..I said that from the start...Monday night in the same week is a PROBLEM particularly v. a strong team.  Well...what can I say..it's been a dicey season for us...the loss of Troy has been a big factor.

Okay..I vented..and you got to hear it! To other posters..please excuse the sports talk but sometimes you just have to let it out so you can move on!

As for AMC...yeah, it's really been just ridiculous...Amanda needs an inBRAINination not an insemination.

Good to have you back, Quinn...missed ya'.

  • OOOOOOOoooooo I *do* get it. I live near DETROIT. So, who gets sympathy? BTW, Ben and the boys played at Ford Field in the Super last year. But, Sunday Night--Colts v. Pats--Payton Manning does it again! Makes me want to relocate. We're cat lovers, have had over 20 so know about loss. Thanks for the support on Cancer.--Quinn
