What on earth is with all the weird fashions?  Mini skirts and layers of fru-fru ruffles?  Strapless leopard prints and Wilma jewelry?  Greenlee used to have her *signature* bows on all her dresses.  Now she has a big-a$$ zipper down the back?

At least Tad is staying true to form:  a breakfast of Cocoa Yum-Yums for the whole family!

[aside to Jenny!  HEY!  You've grown up!]

LOVEd the Adam and David exchange.  You know that they're enjoying their mock threats and serio-comic crises!

Wasn't it conscientious of Angie to keep such close tabs on her son today, on top of all her other Chief of Staff duties?  PLUS, she had time to monitor the janitorial staff, as well.  And she was gonna go home and make gumbo!

When David explained to Adam that he was giving a *carotid massage*, didn't you automatically respond:  "That's what she said."

It's truly amazing how Jenny aged several years. She looks to be no more than a year younger than Kathy. Not likely when you consider the actual history.

Angie jumped all over Damon about pocketing the pills. They both said the procedure is to turn it in, so how was he supposed to do that - leave it in the trash and turn in the whole bag? This is probably an unpopular opinion, but Angie is getting on my nerves. Does she or does she not want to be Chief? Move the story along already.

Tad is so worried about telling Damon he's his father because he missed 18 years of his life. That's not his fault! Then Saint Krystal compares it to Marissa finding out she's her mother. Let's see - didn't know he had a son vs. gave her baby away. Hardly a comparison! Who's writing this stuff?

Replies: (list all replies)

  • ...Tad's first reaction was totally disappointing. Anger? Sure, there's a place in there somewhere for anger, but the primary reaction should've been joy! Happiness at discovering a full-grown Tadlette right in his face! And he should've had enormous curiosity to know MORE about his scion, instead of yearning to point fingers and garner retribution. It's a puzzle...buddz
  • Absolutely right! And of all times, just when he's accepted responsibility for Damon to keep him out of jail, he takes off on a personal mission! /eom - jinx

The David and Adam duo is nerve-racking, as I can just feel the tension, distaste, and distrust in the air. Not certain how long they can work as a team.  Yet, I do feel David is asking for too much,  with wanting Adam to get all charges dropped and resinstating him at PVH>

The BIG DUH was when Angie said she didn't want to give the board a chance to accuse her of ''nepotism''.  DUH, Angie and Jesse are masters at ''nepotism''.

    Replies: (list all replies)

  • ...did she say nepotism or favoritism? Oh, you're right -- the elder Hubbards are masters of both!...buddz
  • I am just going to step in here and do a little horn-tooting... I totally called David trying to make Adam get him off the hook (sadly, I have first-hand experience dealing with sociopathic types; they're fairly predictable). /VisionAri
  • ...duly noted. Bonus points will be added to your overall score!...buddz

Those flamenco ruffles seem to be the rage right now.  Personally, I love 'em, especially on tops more than skirts.  Probably not an appropriate fashion for a woman my age, though.

As to that dress with the zipper going WAY down the back, a recent episode of CSI Miami had a woman wearing a number with a big back zipper all the way down to her butt.  I remember thinking: Fugly! I do NOT want to see many more of these.  But I have a feeling we will.

ahhhhhhhhhhh I was looking for a topic about Greenlee's zipper... I even meant to ask my friends in fashion... WHAT IS UP W/ THAT?

loved when they showed Tad eating the cocoa puffs and then Damon grabbing the box... a chip off the old block for sure!

    Replies: (list all replies)

  • ...Tad used to crumble a Hershey bar iinto morning bowl of cereal -- cute quirk! Isn't it fun to see the writers remembered to give Damon a chocolate craving, too?!...buddz
  • I don't why a chocolate craving or loving would mean any thing, 99% of the people I know are chocolate lovers and not one of them are kin to Tad. /goldie
  • ...true, it was an exaggeration, but it was the chocolate craving for breakfast that was the cute genetic quirk. Or maybe it's not...buddz

Now she has a big-a$$ zipper down the back? Wilma jewelry?? (LOL) I guess we're seeing the Spring fashions (at least in California). I had to laugh. When Greenlee showed up at David's she had a short jacket on - from behind I wondered WHAT was on her butt. Then she removed the jacket to reveal yet another looooong zipper that showed beneath the jacket. Not the best statement.

At least Tad is staying true to form: a breakfast of Cocoa Yum-Yums for the whole family! That was fun and WHOA Jenny was a toddler just a few weeks ago!

LOVEd the Adam and David exchange. You know that they're enjoying their mock threats and serio-comic crises! Another great duo that I could watch for the whole hour!

Wasn't it conscientious of Angie to keep such close tabs on her son today, on top of all her other Chief of Staff duties? PLUS, she had time to monitor the janitorial staff, as well. And she was gonna go home and make gumbo! Angie needs to cut those apron strings. I half expected her to spit on a napkin and wipe a smudge off his face. Geez woman. Damn Damon can't catch a break OR break a law(eek) - he's always got a Hubbard around.

When David explained to Adam that he was giving a *carotid massage*, didn't you automatically respond: "That's what she said." Hee - again could have watched that massage over seeing so many others in this burg.

    Replies: (list all replies)

  • ...spit on a napkin? LoL back atcha! She's definitely hovering and fussing way too much, considering the no-time-for-anything attitude she presents to Jesse. Oh well. I forgot to mention the *woodpecker puppet* that Damon fixed -- there's a joke in there, some where. Take it away, WEeeeee...buddz
  • They mentioned that bird twice. KWAK talked about it before she went upstairs for the show but I was too blindsided by the Jenny SORAS. eom/Weeeee
  • I think Kathy and Emma are older, as well. Only AJ appears to be the same age as he was. eom/CaroleA
  • Was that Jenny? Wow I thought she was a baby, now she is almost Kathy's age, Pine Valley is something else, the old stay forever young and the young age so quickly it is like a blur. /goldie

I'm loving Adam and David together. They are both so talented and together they're dynamite. And funny, too! I hope this goes on for a while. I can't wait until Brooke runs into David. I'm curious what her reaction will be. She always liked him for saving Laura's life.

  • I don't remember that either. I remember her being VERY grateful for his care of Laura but basically, Brooke liked what/who Tad liked when she was on before and there was never a bond or friendship with her and David. eom/ky

buddz, I can't tell you how much enjoyment you add to my viewing of AMC!  I thought yesterday's clown-sized zipper was just unique; then, today we have another version.  It's too much, I tell you!  Although.....Greenlee's wardrobe, thus far, has been more office-like than Erica's strapless animal prints and the boobs pointing skyward.

Madison's outfit was charming, although the skirt reminded me a lot of my daughter's wedding dress....currently on display at Good Will.  I also loved her necklace.

RB seems prettier than she did the last time she was on.  Perhaps shedding 170 pounds really has improved her appearance.

I may need a team of therapists to explain to me how I can still love Jesse, even though he is as intrusive and obtuse as Ryan (DRD).

Every time David mentions changing Adam's meds, I keep thinking how well that worked before.  Even when David was explaining about Gayle today, I thought Adam must really take a leap of faith to let David medicate him again.  It was funny that David suspected poisoned eggs and then went ahead and ate them.  You have to love the interaction between AMC's two greatest!

    Replies: (list all replies)

  • ...David, snarfing down the eggs was HI-larious! He knew that Adam was just trying to get the upper hand by intimidation. (David has hand. Uh-huh.) I just loved watching their faces -- the music was thrumming and ominous, yet they both had sparkles in their eyes from their suppressed humor. Like KatieRose said, they oughta go on a road trip, together -- with a camera man, so we could watch!...buddz
  • I have an explanation as to why you still like Jesse - because you have seen him do so much more and be so much better and you cannot say the same for Ryan. Same as my reason for still liking him and holding out hope for him. eom/ky

LOVED Dave and Adam together.  When Greenlee was like "You two should take a road trip together," I shouted "Yes!" at the screen.  David and Adam cruisin' down Route 66 in a convertible, sniping at each other and raising hell, would be the greatest SL ever.  :)

Oh, and your "That's what she said" remark just cracked me up.  I love Michael Scott.  LOL!

I agree that the back of Greenlee's dress was absurd. Who would use that type of zipper on the back of a dress? The fact that it was a dress that looked like skirt and blouse was cool- but the ridiculously ugly zipper ruined it!

  • It reminded me of Chronicles of Riddick, with the stylized metal spines running down the backs of some of the character's costumes. /VisionAri
