(SoapOperaNetwork.com) -- New "All My Children" Head Writer, Charles Pratt Jr., shakes up canvas with a natural disaster hitting Pine Valley.
Just in time for the all important November sweeps period, ABC's "All My Children" is looking to entice new viewers with a major tornado that will hit Pine Valley in October. Soap Opera Network can also confirm, as reported by TV Guide Canada's Nelson Branco, that two major characters will die during the tornado and that there will be a number of guest appearances from past "All My Children" cast members.
A tornado last hit the fictional Pennsylvania town in 1994, when Julia Santos (Sydney Penny) received a scar after a chandelier fell on her during a party held at the Chandler mansion in honor of Adam (David Canary) and Gloria (Teresa Blake).

Message: The key here is '' a number of guest appearances will take place''. So it has to be two characters with a long history, thus bringing back past cast members (like at Phoebe's funeral). So, much to my sadness, it may Joe, Ruth, or Palmer. Stuart did not have long relatiionships with past cast members, yet all were very fond of him.

Message: The teaser didn't say if they were Male or Female characters, and I have read that Alicia Minshew's Contract has not been renewed, also on the Guiding Light board there is another teaser that says the fight for Daytime TV between CBS and ABC will heat up as one GL actor gets fired and is replaced by an AMC one...

I would love one of them to be Ryan, but I'm sure it'll be Aidan, so that they can put Ryan and Greenlee together. Also, that's probably how they'll get rid of Sam.

Message: I think it comes down to their definition of "major" characters. Since I have read that CP's intentions are to put the focus on Erica, Adam, and the three dysfunctional couples, I don't believe it is any of them. "Major" to me means someone like Jack, or KWAK, although he may be doing away with Stuart and Fletcher. With David coming back, we could easily lose a man or two--I vote for Frankie. You know, one less bell to answer, one less egg to fry.....

Message: I could have sworn that there's been other tornadoes since then. Wasn't there one that destroyed the Martin home and knocked Tad out so he 'saw' Jesse and/or Jenny? Or was that the same one?

Here's my prediction:
Annie will lose her baby, and Aiden will die - thus opening a clear path from Ryan to Greenlee.
Sam Woods will die, freeing Erica to tease and toy with Jack 24/7.
What I would like to see happen:
Kendall receives a horrible SCAR! Zack emerges from the rubble with amnesia. He has no memory of ever knowing or loving Kendall, who is now transformed into a hideous scarred beast. He falls in love with Annie. Kendall goes psycho, tries to kill Annie, and gets locked up in prison. She loses custody of her neglected children. Z & A get married, and she adopts the boys. Now Kendall is free of the confines of her loving ex husband and children, and has plenty of time to focus on everyone else's lives.
