What a stupid, stupid storyline. Kendall has been in that rag for how many days now, and she goes to freshen up where? In the baptismal font? Or did she magically find a washer and dryer in the broom closet? Obviously this abandoned church is on another planet, because wouldn't someone driving by notice lights on at night? And wouldn't it be more comfortable to just lie down on the floor to sleep rather than propped up against a pole? I can't stand to watch any more of this drivel. They have become strictly ff material for me.
Yep, in total agreement here. Those scenes are now giving my remote FF button a workout.
Give the writers credit -- they tried to put the runaways in something besides the usual all-purpose fishing/birthing/hunting/fornicating cabin. *credit* But what organized, right-minded church leaders would have left so much stuff behind! There's all those votive candles and the Big Book of Weddings and sacramental wine and large candelabra on the altar. And the altar itself, which is blessed and may contain sacred relics.
And there are so many oddities like the lack of visitors, the laptop that recharges itself and the tiresome bodily function problems. And does Kendall have her heart meds?
Like you, I wonder about the sleeping sitting up bit. They should at least roll up an old alb and lay down to sleep. And do it off camera.
