First of all, they really need to make Marissa the one that killed Dixie while trying to kill Babe...then, JR could be married to the woman that tried to kill his wife but ended up killing his mother.
Second, Emma's line to Ryan, "You're in love with Erica" would have sounded better if it had been, "You're in love with Spike's grandmother?"
Missed opportunity.

Several posters have said since Day 1 of Marissa's appearance that there is something shady about her, and ICAM. Something is more than likely about to surface. They had this shotgun wedding for a reason. Either Marissa is not who she appears to be on the surface or Babe is still alive. Babe could be the one Nurse Gail is with and everyone just assumes it is Greenlee since R. Budig is returning.

Message: Marisa is such a waste of what could have been a great character, instead of her being the simpleton that she is and another dumb wife for JR she could have been smart and savvy, a real daughter to David, together they could have been a power to reckon with. Then she would have been an interesting woman not a mealy mouth little mouse. They could still save her by making her the killer of Dixie and that she is just pretending to be the way she is. She would never go to prison for the murder, Jesse could blame it on Annie, Zach, Erica and Ryan would be glad to help.

Message: I've been saying Marissa needs to be the killer from pretty much day 1 of her being on the show. I don't understand how we (mere viewers...HA) can come up with that stuff and the writers can't. I understand it has to be challenging to juggle all those story lines with a new script practically every day, but COME ON.
