Additional Comments: I expected that on Veterans Day that would at least show Brot--the first real veteran on a soap-- or allude to the fact that he was a veteran. I'm not saying throw a parade (although he definitely deserves it) but at least something. Even a subtle mention. Weird.

It does appear that Taylor is gone but they could have given tribute, or a mention, to Brot and Frankie who was also in Iraq. Brot being the real deal and Frankie as storyline predicted. Shameless waste as they prop some of their horrid stories.

Message: Yes, that would be very fitting and respectful. Yet TPTB don't kow how to modify, yet alone know when Veterans Day is or what.
