Now this brown haired reincarnation of Petey is WONDERFUL...he's the best of the younger actors...truly. What a gem! And Petey is just a riot! There's something Hollywood young star of the 1950's and 1960's about him...that guy who thinks stealing a kiss is the be all and end all of his day!....so cute...smart and funny and totally able to go toe to toe with Adam...which of course will make him so attractive to Colby...I wish it were OldColby in the role...she'd be cuter with him.
I'd like to see more of him with Opal...seems to me she's spoiled this one! He gets over on her...and I LOVE seeing him with Palmer...it's very nice to see.

I really like Petey. I also think the actor is doing a very good job.
What I don't like is Petey vs Adam.
I think it belittles Adam to have him hurling insults at this kid no matter what he thinks of his parents.
I'm really going to have a problem if they let Petey outsmart Adam or get the best of him in any way.

Petey is great, and I admire the writers from not totally changing his character. He was always a little bit of a con artist. Remember how he extorted money from Kendall?
Given the lifelong feud between Petey's father and Adam, however, I'm not so sure I want him to be in cahoots with Adam. I'd love to see him get the best of Adam.......and then again, isn't it time for Adam to get a big win? I am so conflicted.

Message: I have stated before that I believe Petey is going to turn out to be a Superman. That his "nerdy" actions are just a cover up. If that is the case, I think it is great. We will have to see if he runs to the nearest phone booth to don his outfit and lose the glasses. (only kidding). But he is very intelligent and it just seems that that is how they do Superman and Batman. Come on Petey!
