Additional Comments: Anyone notice how upset Marissa got when she found out David wanted another kid? She was wondering why David could have kids and other deserving parents could not. Just speculation, but I think there is a Marissa-can't-have-kids story brewing.

I was thinking just the opposite. That David is sterile & finds out but won't tell. And of course Trevor is Jake's. JMHO

Possible. Certainly her adoptive parents couldn't have children...that's an assumption I'm making as to why they adopted Marissa and there were no more children in that family. So maybe she's bitter about that too.

I also thinks she's hurt that David treats her like a sometimes-daughter. When he didn't have Trevor, he was all over Marissa. Once he had Trevor in his life, Marissa was an afterthought.

So now he wants ANOTHER child as a sibling for Trevor (blood) and Marissa probably feels, "what am I? chopped liver?!" True she's way off age-wise to be a playmate to Trevor...David said there's "like" a 20-year difference...uh, it's 26 years...pushing 27...Babe's tombstone shows she was born in 1983. But still, it's as if David only "sees" Marissa as an afterthought...second best. Now she'll be third best.

But if Marissa is infertile...meh...if rumors that the 'real' Babe is returning are true, then JR's having a child by Marissa would add interest.

PS---If Marissa cannot have children, she rightly should have told JR that before they married...no matter the cancer scenario, he has a right to know and she has a duty to tell him. That's possibly grounds for voiding the marriage down the line..when Babe shows up! LOL...SORAS

Marissa was acting strange when JR was having his meltdown about not talking to her before hand about important issues like having children. then again she seems to be career minded and maybe that's all that was - kris.
