Additional Comments: I don't really watch the show, but I am sure that I saw Mario Peebles on this soap. I am not even sure how I know who Mario Peebles is, but does he have any other brothers or family members in show business? No, I am not confusing him with the Wayan Brothers. Please help 'lil semi-informed me. O'tay!

He is the son of Melvin Van Peebles who is currently playing his dad on AMC. His siblings are Meghan Van Peebles and Max Van Peebles (both ventured into the business). He has children in the biz as well.

Melvin Van Peebles was on AMC yesterday playing the father of Mario Van Peebles character, Samuel. Therefore real life father & son were playing father (Melvin) and son (Samuel) on AMC. / Gamon

MP has been acting since he was a child. He has been directing for many yrs. His father is an actor/filmmaker who started MP out putting him in his films. I don't recall MP, or his father, ever talking about siblings.

Mario Peebles has been in many movies, my favorite one he was in was Heartbreak Ridge with Clint Eastwood, He had been out of movies for a bit and is now playing a US Atty. on All my children.
