Until today, I wasn't sure how I felt about Marissa and JR, b/c she seemed too good to be true.
But seeing her lose her demeanor today and get emotional and angry with JR about how his cancer has affected her, made her more relatable. I think her character has some great qualities, and it was good to see her feeling flawed.
I thought both Jacob and the actress playing Marissa (don't know her real name) did great work today.

Message: Tracy, ITA! Jacob Young(JR) & Brittany Allen(Marissa) ROCKED their scenes together! They brought alot of honest & raw emotion in their performances today! Their tears, & fear in their voices show a young couple facing alot of challenges ahead & facing them together! Today, I saw Marissa with a fiery passion & love along with fear & sadness! Brittany Allen's acting has improved greatly, & she truely shines next to Jacob Young, who is also doing an excellent job so far in his portrayal as a cancer patient! JR & Marissa are my favorite couple, & I'm totally rooting for them!
