I enjoyed the Purgatory scenes -- but it rankled that AngelAnnie lied to Adam  Angels don't lie.  (And GhostStuart would NEVER have shot Adam!  Tsk!)

Isn't it grand that Scott got to have his self-righteous "woe unto thee" speech?  Maybe he should go practice it in the mirror, next.

Kat is one tough woman.  We know she's a tough woman because she juts out her chest and stands with her hands firmly on her hips.  I can't wait to see her and Krystal have a tough woman contest.

Aidan:  "What's the name of this place?"  Sheriff Hank: "Peyton."  (snerk)

Ryan felt guilty.  Good for him!  Now, what the he!! is wrong with Erica?

buddz,

Here is what about that I realized (about scott):

Every soap seems to have this one character (usually male) that doesn't really have an interesting storyline of their own, and don't really DO anything, but, they are very very perfect, and their main job seems to be to roam around town being very self-righteous to everyone else and kindly sharing with them all what inferios, immoral people they are.

Scott is that guy on AMC...Brady is on DOOL...I think its sorta Jax on GH.

  • That's an interesting theory. I nominate John from OLTL, Neil from Y&R, and Holden from ATWT for the 'annoying, priggy, moral compass' slots on their shows. I used to watch DOOL back before they split-up Sami and Lucas and I flipped-out with rage. (Yeah, I was totally in love with them like with no other soap couple ever.) Anyhoo, I don't know how long you've been watching DOOL, but the next time Brady starts preaching at someone, think back on the raging hatred he had for Marlena back in 2000 or so. He hated her so friggin' much it was classic. That's the thing about these kinds of characters. They always think they're a lot more perfect than they really are. (Although, I think you said on the OLTL board that you liked John, so no offense. Really. I liked Brady back then, too. It's just an observation.) Honestly, today was the first day I ever liked Scott. Sure he's a dork, but he stood up to Zack and I now hate Zack with red-hot passion. So, I still might not be heading out to get an 'I heart Scott' tattoo, but as long as Scott continues along that route, I'm 1000% on his side. :) eom/katierose
  • Oh you're right! It used to be Tad, huh?
  • Katierose, I agree with you. I'm glad Scott got up in Zach's face. Who does Zach think he is getting ready to run to the hospital to keep harrassing Adam and the poor man had an heart attack? He was really gross today and so was Erica the self-righteous biatch! They all still wanted to harrass Adam even though he was have a heart attack. What's wrong with these people? Well, at least Zach brought him back to life but not to save him but to save his boney wife. Precious
  • ...so true, PT, there's always someone who preaches and pontificates -- someone who is clearly above it all. But hello, glass house - meet rock! Scott is hardly in the saintly category, what with his dalliance with the future bride of his uncle while nekkid in his living room. Oh well, it could be worse. It could be a Martin or (gag me with a halo) a Carey!...buddz

I enjoyed the Purgatory scenes -- but it rankled that AngelAnnie lied to Adam Angels don't lie. (And GhostStuart would NEVER have shot Adam! Tsk!) I'm with Mark Dalton here. Loved every second of devil Dave. The hair, the upturned mustache and I think he had a bit of an accent, too. No way would an angel lie - what ARE they thinking. Thought for sure it would be Stuart letting him off the hook or something.

Isn't it grand that Scott got to have his self-righteous "woe unto thee" speech? Maybe he should go practice it in the mirror, next. Actor and acTING aside I was so happy he stopped the deadly trio in their tracks. Zach surely would have gotten that confession then stopped working on Adam. This was the day I WANTED to see someone slugged right in the mouth. If Scot had done that I might be his #1 fan. Well...just for today.

Kat is one tough woman. We know she's a tough woman because she juts out her chest and stands with her hands firmly on her hips. I can't wait to see her and Krystal have a tough woman contest. Oh please let her be going to California JUST for a KWAK smackdown.

Aidan: "What's the name of this place?" Sheriff Hank: "Peyton." (snerk) That was great. I swear I heard the Peyton Place theme playing, too.

Ryan felt guilty. Good for him! Now, what the he!! is wrong with Erica? Ryan felt bad? Awwwww....too late butt munch. Then he says he's gonna get Emma and go home. Guess FUSION is on the way??? Just because they say a line about the child drifting off to sleep quickly doesn't make it right. Erica actually looked old today. NOT Susan...Erica. Protect your child at the expense or life of someone else? Not attractive Erica.

  • Susan Lucci did look old and hard today. I think it was all the dark, heavy makeup she had on. When it comes to gorgeous Susan, less is more. Bonnie
  • What lie did Angel Annie tell? eom/Tex
  • ...AngelAnnie continued the lie about being pregnant with Adam's child! Not too cool, no matter the intention...buddz
  • ...know you'd understand about Erica, WE -- her bad choices and continued poor judgement is tiresome and NOT attractive. She has been a long-term friend and ally of Adam's and it would seem she's abandoned him completely for this faux friendship with Ryan. You're right -- the deadly trio needed to be squashed, but Scott was hardly the one to make self-righteous speeches and declarations and threats. Then again. Who's left that IS worthy? Bwah!...buddz, thinking we'll always have purgatory
  • But Annie IS pregnant......so it wasn't a lie. I guess Angel Annie knew it was the truth? eom/Tex
  • Thanks Tex for that statement. I didn't want to say it but I did read the spoilers about Annie telling the truth. So in fact, she did not lie. I'm happy about that. Now she can throw that is Ry@ss face and Erica's. I can't stand these two. Precious

  • Sorry for the double post. Precious
  • ...yeah, thanks for the update, Tex...I didn't read the spoilers either!...buddz :::trying to erase *angel lying* segment from my monitor:::
  • I didn't read that spoiler until after I saw the scene. Are we to believe the writers thought we'd figure out that she WAS pregnant because an angel wouldn't lie? Hmmmm. eom/WE

I LOVED Devil David!!  From the slicked back hair to twirly moustache to black nail polish - too funny!  Can't believe the Devil still uses a desktop phone with a cord.  Was expecting Stuart to be the angel however.  Love Crazy Annie but she's anything but angelic.

  • ...totally adored DevilDavid, too! The goatee! The red suit! The strange accent! The obnoxious laugh! Purgatory would be FABulous, if he were there...buddz
