Additional Comments: Unpopular or not, these are your opinions, so feel free to fire away....
I'm in a sour mood. I have a lousy cold and have been up since 3:00am, so I'll be ruthless.
Jake looks like a nice Jewish doctor from Brooklyn. What is he doing in the Martin family?
Brot is one of the most awful names I've ever heard. Speaking of Brot, I wish he'd stop lurking and cowering around the hospital. Be a man already.
Angie, it's not the 70s. Tame down that Afro.
Ryan, stop emoting already. If I hear "Where Is My Daughter? one more time, I'm going to cut my arm off.

I agree with Edward.  I like Taylor, Jake, and Brot.  Their storyline has me drawn in.  Taylor is a complicated character, but I get where she is coming from.  She is so mixed up about how she feels about Jake when she is still mourning Brot.  Good stuff.  I like Bianca and Reese because they show a real tenderness for each other like a real couple would, although I respect it may make alot of others uncomfortable. There is a real sadness to Reese over her family not accepting her and that is really eating at her. And I hate Dr. Dave and Amanda.  I FF all their scenes.  He is a creep and I don't get how he gets to practice medicine AGAIN and I hate how Amanda has to act like such a slut.  I would also like to add another unpopular opinion that Krystal is actually compelling in her grief, just as JR is.  At first they seemed too accepting of Babe's death, but now they both are just all over the place with their emotions, all very realistic!  To me, the show has never been better.  I know I stand alone in that opinion.

Um...I don't like Bianca. I really never have all that much. It's not because she's gay, because frankly, that's the only really interesting thing about her. I like Eden, and I thought Imaginary Bitches was a hoot, but Bianca Montgomery is dull as dishwater, and pretty much bores me. Although her girlfriend, oldCarly, is kind of cool.
I like Kendall and Zach, but I'd like to see Kendall kick Zach's @ss for the spermy situation....
I think Jack and Erica have chemistry, but I'd like to see the gigantic redwood be dislodged from Jack's rectum before there is a reconcilliation...
Adam rocks. Not really unpopular, but there you go.
Rylee doesn't bother me. I'm kind of bored with it, but it's not the be all end all of the world....
I hate that we see Tad Martin virtually castrated to Krystal....I want her gone! But...I hated Dixie. I'd like Rebecca to stay and hit it off with Tad....it would be good soap, plus they'd look fantastic together.

I cannot picture Brot and Taylor together. He seems much shorter and younger than her.
(Those flashbacks of hers showed her dancing w/ a tall guy.)

And while I'm thinking about Taylor, PV's portrayal of physical therapy $uCkS!!!

I am sick to death of kids-in-danger on this show. All the kids in the tornado. Stolen babies galore.
Now, Emma has been double kidnapped and is in a fire. Sheesh!!
(PV = NOT a good place to raise a family....)

Was that pic of Eileen Herlie opening the show the other week her tribute? NOT enough!!

The tornado's over. Doc Joe should be able to find another cardiologist by now! Kick Doc Dave to the curb!

I know Natalia (Jesse's dtr) has been thru/is going thru a lot. But I do not want to hear her whine. Anymore.

Amanda, stop letting yourself be used by....everybody. You're gorgeous and have your whole life ahead of you; find some self-esteem, get another job, and act like a lady.

     I like Taylor and Jake, and am enjoying their storyline. Can't wait until Brot and Taylor see each other.

     I like Reese and I like her with Binks. I hope neither of them turns straight with Zach, which leads me to my next unpopular opinion.

     I don't like Zach. I used to like him, but not anymore. He's a loser for sticking with Kendall, who I hope remains a piece of furniture.

     I can't stand David and wish he had never come back. And Amanda's a bigtime loser for doing his dirty work for money. Does she think her best friend Babe would be proud of her? And speaking of Amanda, I don't buy the successful businesswoman act. She strikes me as nothing but a silly ditz. And I don't feel sorry for her losing her yacht, her man and her millions. Let her drink herself into oblivion.

    I love Tad...(hate his marriage to KWAk)...I think he did right in burying/murdering the bad doc in a box and am GLAD he got away w/ it!!!!!

     

    I do not hate Ryan...I like Cam, but I think his acting sucks and his SL's are atrocious

     

    I want to see more sex between Binks and Tamra...I'm not crazy abt Tamra...I just want more Lesbiansex...yum

     

    I love Brot, name is weird, but I love the real actor and his story and what he is bringing to AMC...and I think he's cute-looking despite his facial scars...

     

    Dr. Dave and Mandy do not skeeve me in the least, but they are not a turn-on either

     

    I love Alicia M., I am not sure about her acting prowess, however...

     

    I love Eden and her looks are creamy/dreamy...her voice? ouch!!

     

    I wanted JErica to stay married and become the new Martins...but, nooooooooooooo

     

    I love Adam but he has NO sex appeal for me at all, in fact, his sex scenes gross me out...I love JR's and Jack's sex scenes (and, of course, Eden's)

    I HATE the Ryass/Greenpea/Annie/Poor Aiden SL...hate it

     

    I love Jesse/Angie, but HATE the current SL

  • Jeez, let's not start this whole rigmarole again! We GET it, Miss.B - - you don't like gay storylines, gay marriage, gays having kids and the whole gaiety of gayish gayosity in general. Fair enough. Thus far, no one has attacked you for saying so below. We flame, argue and debate on other posts, but ''unpopular opinion'' posts are supposed to be (or so I thought) a forum to say things with which others might happen to disagree, and to do so without having to endure snide, snarky rebuttals. It wouldn't be so bad if this were not a recurring issue, but for Pete's sake, you've made yourself abundantly clear to the point of mind-numbingly tiresome redundancy. We all have storylines and subjects we don't like - - c'est la vie in Television Land - - so we hit MUTE or fast-forward. Me, I go have a lesbian quickie till the scenes I don't like are over.     Brot is a stupid name but I THINK Frankie called him by his full name when he saw him or when he was talking to Tad and I think it was some sort of a "family" name like Greenlee. 
     
    I wish soaps would go back to the old days (one foot on the floor) during love scenes.  I prefer not to see soft porn. 
     
    I prefer the "love handles" on Tad and David.  I never was a fan of body builder types. 
     
    I LIKE Tads gray hair.  I've always had a thing for premature gray on guys (even though in this case, it's not really premature).  I once knew a guy that was totally gray at 27 and he was HOT!
     
    I don't think "Taylor" is ugly.  And I like that she's not cookie-cutter  beautiful.  And although, I'm not fond of them putting her immediately with Jake.  I do like them together and did like them on GL.

  • On the subject of grey-haired guys: I never thought Richard Gere was ''all that'' UNTIL he went grey! So there's definitely something to be said for grey hair enhancing some people's allure! - - acidbrat ;-)

    I understand that "Jake" & "Taylor" were another couple on another soap...I ain't seein' it...I cannot STAND them together. I love Jake. I do not dislike Taylor although she went from one-note soldier to ALL OVER THE PLACE GIGGLY GIRL...I'll give her that she's been through a lot..but the loudness, the screaming and yelling laughter in a hospital, the many doctors and PT's at her side 24/7 practically...I dunno'...I really really really HATE these two as a couple and am HOPING she sees Brot and dumps Jake ..but then I said to myself she ain't goin' nowhere...her pix is in the opening credits...so that's not happening...


    They've taken Pete from schleppy out of it young cute intelligent guy to URKEL-ESQUE and I DETEST that. He's intelligent..he may be in love and he may be a nerd but even HE cannot believe that a flood-pants tux in a hospital yelling over a hospital PA system is attractive/cute/will-win-her-heart! I REALLY hate that they've turned Petey into Urkel.

    OK, here goes:

    I cannot STAND Bianca's/Eden's singing voice.  It makes my ears bleed (sorry, Speedy!)

    Brot makes me crave spicy mustard - and as a name, it's bad even by soap standards

    Taylor sucks.  And Beth Ehlers, to be honest, is not attractive in the LEAST.  I want my soap stars attractive, and she ain't, no matter how much lipstick they slap on her. 

    I LOVE Tad's gray hair - the Chucky Red was ridiculous, and I hate dyed hair on men.  It's freaky and makes them look all Engelbert.

    If Kendall died, I wouldn't be upset.  But Zach can stay :-)

    LOVE Doc Dave, but this Amanda s/l is skeeving me out big time. 

    Psycho Annie is much more interesting than Sane Annie, but I still am not a fan of the character.  And she's becoming as one-note kee-razy as she was sane.

    I dig Reese and Binks, and really hope Reese isn't up to something nefarious (I don't see it but apparently others have).  I loved their intimate scenes - we've seen (almost) soft porn with hetero couples for years.  And, really, if it offends you that much that gay couples have sex lives, WTF are you doing watching a soap?!?  Soaps aren't lessons in morality - they're soaps!  LOL!  But, that said, Reese ain't no Lena.  Sigh.

    I thought the Agnes Nixon 'ghost' was weird.  OK, to be honest, stupid.  I didn't realize it was a milestone eppie, and maybe seeing her caught me more than off guard.  But still, meh.

    I am deeply resentful that Ryan isn't dead.  For good.  Not ever to return.  Well, maybe that's not so unpopular ;-)

  • I'm trying to look at Taylor from other angles, but I have to agree with you...She isn't attractive. I was also weirded out by the Agnes ghost. It was creepy. As for Ryan, I'm on the fence about him. I think he's remarkably handsome, but I want him to take some acting lessons. Bonnie
  • I sort of agree with you regarding Taylor on the show - BUT if you google Beth Ehlers and look under images - she is NOT unattractive, on the contrary she is very pretty (There is a picture of her in blue - I think one of the first ones that comes up, one in pink, and one from what must be two other ladies from her previous soap and she looks just as attractive as them!) I know this post is the unpopular opinion one, but I thought we could give Beth a seond look (chance!). I think maybe, according to her google pictures at least, that AMC may be make-uping (made up my own word, lol!) her down. eom
  • Why bother googling pictures of her which are usually retouched when we can see what see really looks like moving around from different angles and in closeups on tv? That shows more what she looks like then still, touched up pictures, I would think. /Cookie
  • I've watched Beth Ehlers for years, and she used to be pretty back when she first started on GL, but she isn't anymore. Her nose looks likeit has been broken several times and when they have her with her hair pulled back her ears are huge and stick outl On top of that she overacts so much that she ruins any scene she is in. She was rotten with Ricky Paul Golden on GL and she is destroying his character of Jake onAC.

    Here are my unpopular opinions!

    Idon't think Eden/Bianca is ugly. I thiink she has a beautiful voice, wonder if she'll sing at Myrtle's funeral?

    I like SMG as Kendall but love Alicia as well!! The only time I don't like Alicia's acting is when Kedall is hysterical!

    I think Thorsten Kaye is more handsome than all of the men on the show. Walt Wiley and David Canery come in second for me!!

    I don't like Tamera Braun as an actress and not sure I trust Reese!

    I liked it better when Richie was the nutcase and Annie was a good person! I don't think Annie or Ryan should be raising Emma. Annie has lost her mind and Ryan is a controlling, manipulative jerk!

    I feel the same way about David as I do about Ryan! I feel like David is just back to his same old same old. It's old!

    Taylor get's on my nerves. Yes, I knw she has been paraliysed for only a few weeks but get into the chair and start dealing with things. I have been in a wheelchair all of my life and I realize that it is much harder for someone who was able to walk before but I am sick of her pity parties!

    I love Angie and Jesse being back together and I like Lauara Kauffman as Rececca!

    I think Frankie is a spoiled Brat!

    I wish Tad had been a real man and owned up to what he did to Dr. Madden! I get that the guy was a scumbag but what Tad did was no better and he indirectly (it was an earthquake) caused a man's death by burying him to get answers!

    I actually like Bobbie Eakes (Kwak)!

    I like Adam better than Tad because Adam does love his family and knows he is not always a saint!

    I donot like NuColby!

    I didnot want Rebecca back but only because I never liked Greenlee! She is a self-serving spoiled brat who thinks only of herself and her needs!

    I will miss Myrtle terribly and think AMC will never be the same without her!! I will more than likely cry buckets at her funeral!

    Last, but not least, I love Susan Lucci. She finally got the Emmy and was deserving of it! She may not be the best actress on Daytime but she is definately not the worst! I put her in the top 10 or 20. I would love to meet her in person someday!

    Binks and Reese are the perfect couple. Kendall should stay in a coma for a few more years. Or better yet, kill her off. I hate Colby. AC was much better. Adam should take a few months off, and have Stuart in his own story line. David is a piece of trash. So is Amanda. Wish the tornado took out Annie and Ryan. JR should take little A, and move to California.

    I find Dr. Frankie Franklin Hub Hubbard boring.

    I'm sick of ''back from the dead'' stories, but if there has to be one, I want Simone back!

    I want Amanda to realize her failed trysts with men were futile attempts to suppress her same-sex yearnings, then hook up with Bianca. Just kidding. I'd rather see her with Annie.

    I said that when Jake first came to the show some months back.  I said he was too dark to be a biological Martin family member.  It's ridiculous. However, he has grown on me.  Why they keep bringing all these different types to play Jake back to the show from time to time I don't understand.

    I want to see Annie get punished for killing two people (especially my badboy boyfriend Richie), for almost killing Greenlee (twice) and Aiden, for all her lies and for traumatizing Emma with this cockamanie kidnap scheme.

    I am always in Adam's corner and I think he's a very loving and wonderful grandfather.

    I want Dixie to stay dead. (not a spoiler)

    I think Aiden is a waste of space.

    I like David and Amanda together.

    I like the Hubbard family drama SL.

    I still miss the original Colby, even though NuColby has grown on me a little and is passable.

    I like Kendall and I miss her, too.

    Well, I am having a hard time watching Bianca and her friend!  The thought of them getting married is a little more than I can bear!  Actually, I find it very distasteful and disgusting.

    I do not like the actress Tamara Braun.  Did not like her as Carly and dislike her even more, if that is possible, as Reese.

    I am tired of Annie already and wish that someone would just shoot her and put her and everyone else out of misery.

    What is a Brot????  I want to know his real name.  Is it BROTher?  Stop lurking.........get out of the shadows and give him more to do and say.  Not liking Taylor and think that the actress is out of sorts on AMC.  Maybe I am just used to seeing her on GL as Harley.

    Agree about the Angie Fro! 

    Can't stand Petey nor Colby.

    David needs a formidable foe not the flake Amanda Panda!  Gag me!!!

    Erica needs to be without a man for a spell.  She really does not need a man, especiall Adam or Jack.

    Zach needs something to do other than moping over Kendall.  Ryan needs to join a monastary and take a vow of silence.

    I'm actually starting to like Taylor. I think she's the best dressed person on the show. I can relate to black t shirts, army jackets and  boots. All she needs is a long skirt like me. I also like her 'in your face' attitide and her throwing things. Like I've mentioned before, throwing things is fun.

    Yes, Brot is a horrible name.

    Don't like Tad's grey hair.

    Jake is a horrible doctor. Any real hospital would have fired him a long time ago. For that matter David shouldn't be working at any hospital either considering his record.

    Erica could be on 5 minutes a week and I would be happy.

    Jesse and Angie need a lighter story.  They are great when they are cute with each other.

    KWAK looks great in turtlenecks and should wear them all year.

    I really, really want Greenlee and Aidan to leave together.

    I think Zach and Reese are headed to a romance.

    Bianca IS beautiful!

    I believe that Reese really DOES love Binks.

    I like Jake and Taylor, together or apart.

    I want Annie to kick Ryan to the proverbial curb and get custody of Emma...But oops, that's probably the POPULAR opinion around here already, huh?

    I want to see Carmen return and fight for Jack. And yeah, and where's Val these days? I'd like more of Val, please!

  • I was beginning to think I was the only one who noticed that while Annie was dying, Ryan was slapping her around!
  • By the way, was it just me, or when it ended Friday, didn't Aidan grab Greenlee and jump out of the way BEFORE Annie fired the gun? Then, on Monday, he seemed to already have Greenlee out of the line of fire, and he jumped in the other direction, in front of the bullet? Did Annie fire twice?

  • I think the only reason they keep Susan Lucci on the show is because she's been there since the beginning. It has nothing to do with her being a good actress which she is not. I think she overacts.

  • I'm still getting over this cough I've had for over two weeks now.It's finally almost gone. I had a cold then I had a nasty cough. It sucks being sick.

    First off, we are all different and have different opinions.  I respect everyone's take on the show and the characters no matter how strongly I disagree.  However, since you asked, I'll give you my two cents.

    Jake looks like a nice Jewish doctor from Brooklyn. What is he doing in the Martin family?  I love Jake but maybe I am biased because we go way back on GL and Y&R. He could pass for a Jewish doctor working in Brooklyn, I'll give you that.

    Brot is one of the most awful names I've ever heard. Speaking of Brot, I wish he'd stop lurking and cowering around the hospital. Be a man already. While I agree the writers could have come up with a better name (before seeing it I thought it was Barat) it's no worse than some others.  As for him sneaking around the hospital, Jessie did the same thing. Still it gets old when they have characters doing the same things over and over.


    Angie, it's not the 70s. Tame down that Afro. - Angie's 'fro looks great although I think it may be a wig.

    Ryan, stop emoting already. If I hear "Where Is My Daughter? one more time, I'm going to cut my arm off.  Ryan, sigh!  I think it would be easier in these Ryan hate posts if we could just say, if you hate Ryan Lavery, press 1.

    I think Jake is gay and have thought that since he came on the show.

    I love Angie and she can wear her hair anyway she wants!!
