I read the article. It just has to do with Aiden going to Darfur to save Jake. That's it.

Yeah, I just saw it this evening: The cover says Aidan ''gone'' - not ''out.'' .... Of course it's deliberately misleading. Next time I see a magazine criticize a soap for insulting viewers' intelligence, we should suggest to them that they not condone the practice by participating in it. ~Soaker

I'm with Bubblez. I don't dislike Aidan, but I think he's worn out as a character. And maybe his misuse / underuse has contributed to that. But it is what it is, and it's probably time for him to make an exit.

I'm not with Gardenia (sorry!) on the suggestion that Josh Madden should get more airtime as a result, nor do I think his portrayor is a great actor by any stretch. He's just there, and, given his test-tube origination, he scientifically should not be there! :-P

I suspect we'll be seeing Ricky Paull Goldin's Jake take up some of the available screen time, and honestly, I'm looking forward to seeing where that goes - AND to see his scenes with MEK's Tad, and Joe & Ruth.

That is sad. Aidan has been around a long time, he just told Jack that he had made PV his home. He's never been given any stories that would show his acting, always linked to these dingy women. I have alway enjoyed his part even if I did have to rewind several times to understand what he was saying. :). I'll miss him.

I wish it were Ryan. He’s the one that’s useless, IMO. Aidan might be boring, but at least he has a job and doesn’t act like a jerk all the time.

I've got to agree with the others. If he's gone, then truly, it's about time. He's lovely to look at, that's true, but he's been useless since about day one. I always resented that we had to deal with him along with the GH invasion (hated the Devane twin mess.) Maybe Josh Madden could get some screen time in his place...at least that boy's marginally connected to the show---and he can act!

wow, that's a shame... I did like him. His friendship w/ Tad was always fun to watch. Now that Jesse is back and Greenlee appears to be heading towards Ryan, guess they don't need him. Agreed, they wasted him for years. Just surprising as there are others I'd think would go first.

I don't mean this in a mean way, but if he's gone, it's about time. I don't know how he managed to stick around as long as he did. Interesting charcters with better SL's have come and gone, but, Aiden has been always there meandering around Pine Valley.

He's good looking and all that, but the character was useless. They've tried quite a few times to make something happen with this guy, but nothing stuck. He had a big, big SL with Maria that, from what I remember, didn't go over well with the fans.

Aiden, the real guy, seemed like a real nice person, but his acting never improved, sometimes it was painful to watch. He never had any chemistry with any of the women they hooked him up with, which was just about everybody at one time or another. I don't see Greenlee actually marrying him, and with no important ties to anyone in PV, bye, bye Aiden.

Yeah. They did make them related and also made up a twin sister to Anna. One of them married Dimitri and the one of them got killed off. I'm guessing the Anna's twin got killed since she's coming back to GH./bubblez
