Additional Comments: "It needed to be done." So I guess that makes it okay to burn down somebody's house and everything in it ... He's so smug and arrogant about it. How is this guy any better than the ones who are supposed to be the bad guys?

Well, I guess the answer to my question How is this guy any better than the ones who are supposed to be the bad guys?  is 1) in the eyes of Zach's fans, he can do no wrong and 2) a seemingly endless supply of money is all it takes. Shoulda known!

Hey, at least he gave Tad a check.  Knowing Zach it was more than what the cabin was worth.

  • The check was the thing to do but Tad might have had some things in the cabin that were important to him. Zach and Kendall just burned it down without any thought to the owner. MM

Hmmm.  Well, Zach DID pay Tad for the house, and Tad seemed completely pleased with the amount of the check.  (Snorffed when he expressed a more than passing concern for his house in town!)    Also, Zach didn't lie about burning down the house, neither directly nor indirectly.  He didn't ignite one corner of the house and then hide behind a fence while it combusted over the course of several days.  Zach didn't say he really burned down someone else's house or that Tad's house was never even built or was another man's house.  Zach didn't kidnap the house and tell Tad that his house drowned in the river.  Zach didn't shoot the house dead one dark and stormy night and then hang it in a meat storage locker OR throw the house's ashes in the landfill.  Zach didn't put tainted drugs in the house so that everyone who walked into the house got sick, in all kinds of different ways.

    But I digress.

Basically:  Zach freely admitted burning down the old cabin and gave the owner a hefty check as reparation.  That is how he is a little *better* than some.

Come on, burning a house, small potatoes.

These two guys got history, if you can bury a man alive, go to trial and get each other off without jail time an arson is no big deal, right?

I mean its not like they killed someone (this time)

Somewhere Sylvester is probably laughing since Tad and Aidan forced Sylvester to sell them the house. Maybe Zach figured that Tad would accept buring it down since Zach took Tad's murder rap for him.

  • Tad just accepted it so calmly, like it happens every day. Sylvester doesn't know how lucky he is! /eom - jinx

He's taken over for Ryan as the Perfect man who does no wrong in anyone's eyes. I think he is a total jerk personally. I'm one of the few that is not a fan.

  • Join the club. He's too arrogant for me. /eom - jinx
  • I'm the self appointed president of the club!
  • Add me to the club! NEVER been a Zach fan. eom/EG
  • Count me in too. I think he has made Kendall unwatchable and I think he is boring. But we're in the minority, LOL. EOM
  • I used to like Zach and Kendall togethr. I guess that was about when Spike was born and then Ian. But so much crap has happened to and by both of them that I am no longer entertained by either of them. For a while Kendall was not so needy and Zach was not so almighty, but now the writers have made them almost unwatchable to me. Too bad. And now we don't even to get the little chats with Myrt and Zach - she had a way of talking with Zach and kind of helping him figure things out when he was having a hard time with something. Everybody could use a ''Myrtle'' in their lives at times, imo. JMO.
