Additional Comments: I don't understand why so many posters think that Dr. Hayward is so hot. He only has average looks. PLUS he is an A$$!!! Ok, so maybe it is the "bad boy" thing they like. I think Jackson Montgomery has him beat in the looks department by a mile, also Jessie Hubbard has him beat also. Just have to shake my head and wonder what all the fuss is about Dr. Hayward.........I just don't like him, never have, never will.

Beauty..and hotness..are in the eye of the beholder. If we all liked the same types of people..were attracted to all the same types..there'd not be enough to go around for all of us!

I'm surprised by this question. You know the old "I like coffee you like tea..." type of thought...I'm just very surprised that anyone would wonder why people on the board find one actor to be hot but perhaps not another. It's what we dig...what we're attracted to...I'd like VI if David Hayward were a saint on AMC. For me it's an appreciation of his physical look...totally shallow..but I'm not trying to date him!! LOL....

That said..I like most of the men on AMC...for various reasons. Some I find to be hot..and some I find to be handsome...and some I find to be adorable...

I remember VI back in his original role on GL. He was very young and at that time didn't appeal to me. Then when he came back several years later as Lujack's twin, he had filled out some and was so HOT. I tend to prefer darker looking men. I do think Walt Willey is gorgeous as well but gee, he's OLDER... I prefer younger men. And you know what, I even prefer the love handles to the body builder types.

To each his/her own but VI and WW have two very different looks and I think they are both extremely good looking. VI has the dark , bad boy, sexy look. WW has more of the classic magazine cover look. I have a hard time believing that WW is 57 or 58 years old. He looks great. It's all a matter of taste but I wouldn't throw either one of them out of bed.

Not everyone goes for the 'model looks' that so many Suits go for. Personally, I prefer substance over the superficial crap. So VI doesn't look like one of those 6'+, ex-models w/perfect teeth & blonde hair to match. He has more talent than many wannabes & a track record that only reinforces why he is in demand, whether it is daytime or primetime.

Personally, I've always thought that he was handsome & would only become more interesting as he got older. Can't say the same for most of those poster boys for using modeling as a stepping stone, who don't think that they need to study the craft of acting.

I have to agree with you, Sunny. VI has never done anything for me, and I absolutely loathe and detest David Hayward, so the more he's off my screen, the better. I hated him from his first day on the show, and how he thought he was just so perfect or something. UGH. I just don't see his appeal AT ALL, but as others have said, different strokes and all that. While I absolutely LOATHE DH, I've met VI, and he seems like a nice guy. Still didn't think he was hot or anything tho. I remember seeing him running from fans to the elevator to his hotel room when they did the SSW in CA a few years ago, LOL. Fans weren't allowed near those elevators where the actors stayed. IT looked like he was running for his life LOL.

OK, I don't see what some of you see in Jackson Mongomery. To me he is an old man with a pot belly. Even Adam has a better body. Dr. Davlicious is smokin hot. To be honest his character on Y&R did nothing for me and I didn't see him in the same light as I do as doctor Hayward. Maybe there is a little bad boy crushin in all of us.

Did you see David in WW the other day? His belly needs some serious pilates. He is almost getting a beer belly. I think both men are good looking but are so different they can't be compared. VI has the dark, brooding, ethnic look. WW has the classic magazine cover type of looks.Considering WW is 57 or 58 years old and has 10 years on VI, I'd say they run neck and neck. Either way they both are handsome men.

I didn't at first but as time went on I really liked him...so that made him cute to me..not hot but cute...now I didn't like this Jake at first...but he has grown on me too and I like him a lot...dont't find him to be hot..just really kind of adorable and attractive...SORAS

Then that makes Tad and Ryan the ugliest ever.

I think Tad is ADORABLE...in his youth he was very cute and hot in the day and NOW I just find him to be adorable and comfortable and sweet and amusing and AUTHENTIC...a guy who wasn't afraid to put the Grecian Formula aside...a guy who's had some difficulty in his personal life and yet still exudes spontaneous humor..I do NOT like Tad with KWAK..it's not a good match to bring out Tad's best...but I will always keep Tad/MEK as probably my most favorite AMC guy...he's real, he's genuine, he's authentic...he makes me feel secure and happy when I watch AMC and he's on. SORAS

I think both Jackson and David are hot in their own ways. Jackson,David,Jake in an odd way, Zack, Jesse sometimes, and Adien are very easy on the eyes.
Ryan turns me off and Tad and Adam are not my cup of tea

I liked him a lot better when he first joined AMC a few years ago. Now Hayward is such a cartoon character that it's hard to even see VI's sex appeal anymore.

Now, I've never been one to pant over Jackson, but the other day when he was reading the PV paper and wearing his reading glasses, man oh man, he looked sexy!!! Don't know what it was about those specs, but woohoo!

There are many goodlooking men on AMC. Jack and David aren't the only ones. David is not a likeable character but there's a huge difference between him and his dashing portrayer, Vincent Irizarry. There are many characters whose actions make us dislike them but there's no denying looks. If you like Jack, that's fine but not to see that Vincent is handsome? Don't like him all you want but he's hot!

Differst strokes for different folks. Jackson is a very nice looking man but I prefer the dark dreamy look. That said - it's not necessarily the dastardly doc I'm into as it IS Vincent Irizarry. Since he plays the dastardly doc - the looks go right along with it. Woof!!

I can understand you preferring Jack but I don't understand how/why you don't get why so many are into David/VI. That smile alone must give the lighting peeps trouble!!

I can only speak for myself...I think he has such a way about him. I love when he enters a room. To me, he is so handsome & the way he acts, he is not afraid of anyone. I like how he speaks his mind. I was so upset when I heard that AMC let him go. I was glad they did not do a recast. There is only 1 David Hayward to me..LOL I just hope they do more with his character then just have him seek revenge.
