Topic: Unpopular opinion..

Sure..it's a matter of personal preference.  I think he looks really good...has a great face, gorgeous eyes, but I also love his versatile hair and will be happy when he can grow it back.

As for Marissa...man it's like she's several scenes behind everyone else when she's acting...like her reactions in the current scene actually applied to a scene 2 segements back.  She's quite blah.  You can be "low key" without being so lifeless.  I mean, between Marissa and JR, Marissa seems to be in the more life threatening situation because she's so flat and pale and lifeless.  No dimension.  No life. 

The actress really needs some attention from the hair and makeup people...that she hasn't gotten it makes me wonder how long Marissa will be with us.

SORAS, ITA about Jacob's beautiful face & eyes! He looks gorgeous with or without hair! I also like to add that I like JR & Marissa together! Yes, I agree that the actress is very low key, but might be because she is just very shy & quiet, but love her smiling face!/mistygrace

The whole fictious cancer story aside, I agree.  I love bald men, but JR has really put a damper on my love.  He has to be the worst bald man I've ever seen.  That look usually work on most men, but definitely not JR.  Yuk.  And yes, it doesn't help to have the strange Marissa hanging around him.

There would be no bald JR if it wasn't for the Cancer story so you can't separate. Once he goes into remission, which will be soon, he'll grow his hair back. Whether he looks good or not I give him kudos for making the story real. What about people who really lose their hair? Oh too bad that one got Cancer, they don't have the right shaped head for it????eom/hoi

I don't think they're going for attractive when telling a Cancer story. The reason for the shaved head is the patient would lose all their hair, that includes facial, due to chemo.

Chemo patients lose their eyebrows and eyelashes, too, which JR hasn't given up. I never noticed whether he had chest hair or arm hair before but he'd lose that, too. eom ML

To be fair, not all chemo patients lose their hair. And of those who do, not all of them lose all of their hair. So it's plausible that JR retains some hair. Eom

I agree with you on this one. This is the most boring couple in the history of soaps. I have to ff anything Marissa, she is boring beyond words and desperately needs a makeover.

Her teeth and mouth are totally distracting to me - I don't know if the teeth look too big, too fake or what - but I can't look away... and yes, Watching paint dry is ''hot'' compared to this pairing. ~Ginger Grant

Yes, the teeth and mouth are right up there for me, too. Probably because she can't talk without smiling. We can't get away from it. /eom - jinx

People on this board slammed JY when he first got his teeth done, and we laughed about them being too big and too white. Now he's paired with like teeth. It's simply blinding. //SqueezeMe

I can say one thing about his head, he must have never fallen as a kid, he has the smoothest bald head I have ever seen. I have never had my head shaved but I know I have a few childhood scars up there, most people I know would have too.
