Yes, I think it is a real missed opportunity that Amanda hasn't sent Janet a picture of little Trevor to his grandma.

An inconvenient truth?

Some small reference was made by Liza as to her being sad over her mother's condition but it's not like Liza ever finds 10 minutes, that we know of, to visit her.

And Amanda hasn't even TOLD her mother that she's a grandmother!
